SUNY Fredonia Gallery Delivery Door Structural Review

Project Objective
The project was to install a delivery door in an exterior wall at Rockefeller Hall. The delivery door provided easier access to the gallery and allows for larger works of art to be moved in and out of the building. Structural review of the concrete wall was necessary to determine if an opening could be created with out compromising the structural integrity of the wall.
Encorus Group Solution
Encorus reviewed the structure and performed calculations to determine whether or not it would be feasible to create a door opening at the desired location. Design calculations and detail sketches were provided to the client.
